Community Meeting — May ‘26
On March 8th, we gathered to announce our petition calling for member elections at Dhamma Dena, and on April 13th, we delivered that petition with 241 signatures to the board, asking for their response by April 26th. We will meet again to discuss the board’s response, and to lay out next steps.
Community Meeting — March ‘26: A Call to Action
Eight months ago, we came together and presented a clear request to the board: a call for BIPOC-majority leadership on the Dhamma Dena board and accountability to the sangha. Since then, there has been no movement, absolutely none. The board remains white-majority led, and our voices, our needs, and our vision for Dhamma Dena have been met with silence and inaction.
This is a moment to come together, to share vital information, and to chart a path forward.
Community Meeting — September ‘25
Circles will be sharing proposals for what we can do together toward our commitment to BIPOC queer dharma leadership and how we can make decisions together moving forward.
Community Meeting — August ‘25
Now is the moment for all hands on deck to save this beloved space.
Community Meeting — June '25
Please join for important community updates— after the removal of Fresh “Lev” White from the Board last month there’s a collective concern about the lack of representation of queer and BIPOC in leadership at DD, and their ongoing participation.
